This is the first game in the series to appear on the PlayStation 3 platform. You get 59 music tracks which you can assign to play on specific part of the game (main menu, league menu, stats screen and so on). Modes are as you can imagine them, pretty much the same you have League (English, Italian, Spanish and the other – no German league, though), Master League, Exhibition, Training, Edit Mode and plethora of other options.
Gameplay is somewhat easier and players won’t kick ball so high when you hold the kicking button for too long, and dribbling is corrected and enhanced in comparison to the last game. Although this time English League has imaginary emblems for unlicensed clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and the other, many other clubs still remain with proper insignias. Gameplay is updated and feels more natural in a way that goalkeepers won’t be able to easily catch every ball, players will stumble on each other, slip and try to keep balance, be able to simulate fouls and hope they don’t get caught by the referee, and so on.

Goalkeepers can be switched from AI to manual control at any point, with saves, throws, drop kicks, and slide tackles all initiated with single button presses. New manual controls involve holding down a button to determine the strength or distance for passes and crosses. Returning to the game is the Manager Mode, which offers a few new additions such as the ability to schedule training sessions during the week. This experience can then be used to enhance an athlete's core attributes, with the 'winner' being the player with the most experience at season's end. Both team and individual tasks are presented before each game that award experience points when successfully met.
Players in this mode can create a custom profile to track personal statistics and to develop their athlete over time. This allows up to four friends to play on the same team in specific positions that remain locked throughout a match and over the course of a season. The most notable addition from past iterations is the 'Be a Pro' cooperative season mode. The FIFA series continues on PC with FIFA Soccer 08, featuring 30 official leagues, 38 authentic stadiums, and over 12,500 licensed players.
